Reaching the Next Generation Through NET

I first encountered NET as a first-year student at Kenyatta University in 2015. I was lost, lonely, and far from home. A classmate invited me to a NET fellowship, and from the first meeting, I knew I had found a family.

The discipleship programme changed everything. For the first time, someone was investing in my spiritual growth intentionally. My mentor, a third-year student, met with me every week. We read the Bible together, talked about real challenges, and prayed for each other.

By my second year, I was leading a small group. By my third year, I was coordinating outreach on our campus. NET had given me more than friendship, it had given me leadership skills, a sense of purpose, and a community that believed in me.

Today, as a graduate working in Nairobi, I continue to volunteer with NET. I mentor three students every month. I see myself in them, and I know that the cycle of transformation will continue long after I am gone.
