Stories from the movement
45 Years Is a Miracle
Eng. Samuel Otieno was among the students who felt convicted by the vision in 1980. Forty-five years on, he calls NET’s survival a miracle — and remembers crossing the lake by night to reach an island.
I Got My Wife from This Ministry
Johnson Awuor joined NET in 1997 as a first-year student at the University of Nairobi. Nearly thirty years later, the former Global Chairperson still says he would choose NET by any means.
The NET Ladies Took Over My Mother’s Kitchen
Stephanie Oloo grew up in a strong NET household. When her father fell seriously ill in 2020, a prayer chain on WhatsApp spanned the diaspora — and the NET ladies took over her mother’s kitchen.
