Reaching Schools, Churches and Villages

Bishop Eliakim Babu is a member of NET’s Far East group, and he remembers the early days: a small team praying together, the first chairperson, secretary general, and treasurer, with the universities then being incorporated. The first challenge came at a revival weekend; the missions that followed took them to St. Steven’s, and then to Aboke. He joined the second mission to Aboke while still in college — and that is when NET became familiar to him.

What stayed with him is the reach of those teams: schools, high schools, churches, villages. Wherever NET went, lives changed — and the pattern has continued across the years of the ministry.

Today his eyes are on the leadership centre. He is preparing to celebrate its launch on 27 December — a milestone for the ministry, a place where people will come to train. May God bless NET Global.
